Practice setting up anchor spots and mock leading, cleaning and efficiently passing gear and rope management. Probably at surf city, trundle dome and second city area.

- 1 personal anchor (Metolius) + locking carabiner
- 6 single alpine slings
- 2 double alpine slings
- 1 triple alpine sling
- 18 standard-sized non-locking carabiners (2 per sling)
- 6 locking carabiners (in addition to the one in #4)
- One set of standard-sized cams
- One cam each matching the following Black Diamond sizes: .3, .4, .5, .75, 1, 2, 3
- 7 carabiners – one for each cam
- Do not need to be full sized
- Getting carabiners that match the color of your cams will be helpful
- One set of nuts
- 1 carabiner to rack the nuts
- Nut tool
- 20’ cordelette - 5mm tech cord
- 2 rolls of climbing/gym tape
- Hollow block (Sterling) – either 13.5” or 19”
- Small daypack to carry water, food and insulation on climbs
