Intro to Bouldering: an introduction to safe and fun bouldering. Students will learn what it takes to move confidently through a boulder route. Focus on correct techniques for safe spotting, learning to read a route and good climbing technique are things that will be taught in this intro to bouldering course. There will be 2 evenings at the program center, followed by a weekend field trip to Leavenworth. No experience is required. Students must be able to provide their own pair of rock shoes to participate. A chalk bag is recommended and a bouldering pad would be helpful but not required.
