March 02 - May 15 We'll take you through a 10 week intensive training cycle on your way to a redpoint at Vantage. Includes physical conditioning, mental training and climbing skill building, advanced belay technique, and practice lead falls. Students will select a challenging project at Vantage to work on as a redpoint. Students pair up at the first class with a training partner for the 10 week cycle. Additional fee for Vertical World falling session not included in the course fee. Required: Leader permission. Must be able to lead sport climbs, set up, clean and rappel a sport route. Must have or obtain a lead and lead belay card from Vertical World. Required Text: Self Coached Climber Required Equipment: rope, 6 quickdraws, top rope anchor set up, rock shoes, helmet, harness
