Over-50 Alpine Conditioning Seminar with Courtenay and Doug Schurman hosted by the Climbing Committee. Free and open to all.

This seminar offers proven training strategies for the over-50 alpine crowd, whether you have questions about suitable recovery or simply how to train smarter rather than harder.  Learn how to add targeted mountaineering-related stretches and strength movements that you can perform anywhere.  Identify what your aerobic and anaerobic training zones are and how frequently to train for optimal recovery and performance.  Learn how to get the most out of your training regimen, whether you have concerns about cardiovascular, strength or flexibility training.  Presenters Courtenay and Doug Schurman have been working with mountaineering atheletes since 1997 through their outdoor conditioning coaching business  They are the authors of the Train to Climb Mt. Rainier DVD and The Outdoor Athlete.
