Practice placing and using rock pro on real rock..

Use, weight, and climb on nuts. Priority to Intermediate Alpine Course Students, and new Crag students. The Basalt columns are an ideal spot to practice placing pro on real rock for anyone starting to trad lead climb. There will be three sessions throughout the day, session times are listed below and in the activity links below. Leader's Permission Required.

  • Session 1: 8:30-10:00am
  • Session 2: 10:30-12 noon
  • Session 3: 12:30-2:00pm
Course Requirements

This course has no scheduled activities.

Required Equipment

Bring your harness, helmet, and belay skills. Bring your pro if you have it, but not required for the seminar. Rock pro is provided.
