This will be a day hike with a pretty good pace to the rocky lookout point on Mt Si. We will go up the old trail (Little Si!) and down the new to the Douglas Fir trail before meeting back up with the old trail. https://caltopo.com/m/Q841538

This trip will be a bit faster than normal day hikes. we’ll keep a strenuous zone 2 cardio pace (upper 130s heart rate for me at 6’2 215lbs, 20ish lb backpack), taking a few 5-7 min breaks for water, snacks and selfies 📸 😄. We want to keep a good pace to the top and will take a shortish break when we get there to have water/snacks.

If you would like to bring extra weight for your own conditioning purposes, please bring water so you can dump it out if you are unable to keep up with the pace of the group.

745 start time. Let’s meet at 730 in the LITTLE Si parking lot!
