Workshop #1- Practice mule knot, top-rope belay, intro to basic anchors, and introduce lead belaying. Meet in Goodman C- 6pm to 9pm.

Where: Meet in the Basement of the Mountaineers Program Center. We'll use the Basement and/or Goodman C.
What: This 3-hour workshop will cover the following skills:
Review (1 hour):
- Review basic knots, which students should have self-taught as homework
- Top-rope belay review
Station rotation (2 hours):
- Lead belaying
- Basic anchors
- Belaying with a munter and tying-off with a mule knot
Students: 6:00–9:00pm in Goodman C, Mountaineers Program Center.
Goodman C 6pm to 9pm.
Required Equipment
All required rock climbing gear in the course syllabus.
