Meet in the Mountaineers Lobby at 6pm. We will move to the North Wall Roof to practice loaded systems

Building on what was learned in Technical Skills 1, we focus on scenarios in a loaded situation. Scenarios that will be covered

  • Rescue of an unconscious climber - rescuer will rappel down to subject, attached drop loop or hauling line, ascend back to the top, and raise the subject
  • Rescue of a conscious climber that needs assistance - a rescue will be lowered down to the subject and attach themselves to the subject. Rescue and subject will be hauled out together

Please be prepared for all weather; we will be on the roof rain or shine. Please bring headlamps
