- All rock climbing gear from the Basic course
- A cordelette (About 20 feet of 7mm nylon or polyester cord. Smaller diameters acceptable if it's a tech cord rated >10kN, like Bluewater Titan cord, which is 5.5mm.)
- If you have one: a belay device that can be set up to belay off the anchor in auto-blocking mode. (e.g. Edelrid MegaJul, Petzl Reverso, Black Diamond ATC Guide, Mammut Smart Alpine, etc.)
