Meeting at Mason Lake trailhead and ready to hike at 6:20 PM.
If you are coming from Seattle, a group is leaving the Mercer Island Park and Ride at 5:30 PM for carpooling. We highly encourage carpooling, so please contact the group in advance if you would like to arrange something that is more convenient for you.
This conditioner hike is part of the 2016 Intense Basic Course. You have permission to join this hike if you are part of the course. If there is still capacity the Wednesday before the hike, students from Rob and Sherrie's Intermediate Mentor Group have permission to join as well.

Required Equipment
- 10 Essentials (emphasizing headlamps)
- 35 pounds of pack weight (use gallon water jugs to get to this weight)
- If you have new mountaineering boots you need to break in, please wear them. If you have not yet purchased mountaineering boots, stiff soled hiking boots are fine.
