Note: Sign-up is disabled for this event.  Sign up for the April 17-18 winter overnight at Mt. St. Helens, and you will be added to this event.  Both are required for SIG Snow FT credit.

7 am Summit West Parking lot.

This is a one-day local outing where we  will work on snow anchors, crevasse rescue, roped travel, ice axe arrest.  The winter overnight is a separate trip down at Mt. St. Helens.

This field trip will focus on introducing basic climbing class students to the basics of snow belays, snow anchors, crevasse rescue, traveling together on a rope. Snow camping will be a separate field trip.
