6:30-9:00 pm in Seattle.  The address will be shared privately with attendees.

We will eat and socialize from 6:30 to 7, please bring snacks and drinks to share. 

Students should complete the following reading from Freedom of the Hills before this event:  Chapters 2 and 3 on Clothing, Gear,  and Equipment and Chapter 9 on Basic Safety Systems.

We will go over gear that students will need for the course.
