TBD.  Restaurant in Leavenworth if COVID rules allow that in May.

Two days of rock fun in lovely Leavenworth.  Primarily for the Wallace SIG Basic students and alumni, but this is an extra activity and not an official part of the Basic Course, and anyone with some rock training may attend with leader's permission.

Saturday will be split, with half the group doing friction slabs and the other half cracks, then switch places at midday.  Sunday we'll all be together at Playground Point, which offers face, crack and slab opportunities.  All climbing will be top-roped.

Traditionally we have rented a large house for Sat night, but distancing rules won't allow that.  TBD, but likely we will camp in the spacious front yard of Mike and Cheríe Warren, a few miles N of Leavenworth on the Chumstick Rd.  Mike and Cebe co-led this SIG for 17 years before Mike's retirement.  Another tradition has been a Saturday potluck dinner.  We may have to exercise ingenuity to have a potluck on the Warrens' patio and perhaps sharing food while adhering to distancing protocols.  We'll make it work and have fun.  There is no medically sound reason to refrain from least sharing beer and wine.
