This field trip will focus on introducing basic climbing class students to the basics of snow belays, snow anchors, crevasse rescue, traveling together on a rope, and snow camping. 

Taylor / Eades SIG only unless special request is made to trip leader.

Will meet Saturday morning and spend all day out in the field.

Day 1 will be spent practicing skills and trying out gear, etc.

Day 2 will be an early wakeup (approx 4AM) followed up roping up, practicing as if we are doing a glacier climb. After this we will be done relatively early (prob about 7am), then we will pack up. Everyone is invited to join at the summit pancake house for breakfast
