Climbing, Belaying, & Rappelling, ... on the climbing walls.
Activities:
- Climb 3 or more top-rope routes on the south plaza climbing wall,
- Tope rope belay on South wall
- Rappelling, safe rappel rigging, and connecting into an anchor.
- Top rope belay, belaying a leader, and belay tie-off.
- Low anchor rappel, & alternate rappel method (3 locking carabiners).

Required Equipment
Equipment: Be sure to bring all the gear listed below. Mark your equipment so that you will be able to identify it when it gets mixed in with other gear.
- Hiking boots or alpine boots or approach shoes or climbing shoes,
- climbing harness,
- helmet,
- belay device,
- 2x locking carabiners,
- 1x large locking pear shaped carabiner,
- 120cm sewn nylon sling,
- 2’ prusik loop (hero loop).
