This is the Basic Alpine Climbing Course sign-up for Field Trip 1.

The students who are new to rock climbing and without prior belay experience practice belaying and lowering techniques.

Students with gym climbing and belay experience can skip this field trip. Although such students need to provide a top rope and lead belaying certification provided by their respective gym.

Climbing harness - belay device - large HMS locking carabiner (pear shape) - climbing helmet.
Footwear can be rock shoes or climbing boots.
