To prepare, please read chapters 9 and 10 in Freedom of the Hills.
Coils and knots are covered on pages 138 to 147.
Information on constructing a prusik set is on pages 379 and 380.
Required Equipment
As specified in the Basic Course Handbook. Click on the link below for a full list of required equipment. Send any questions about gear before the field trip. If you arrive without the necessary gear you will not be able to participate.
