About the Climbing Self-Rescue Course
What would happen if your party needed to perform a rescue on high-angle rock or technical ice or on a glacier with the very limited resources available in a typical small climbing party? This advanced-level rescue course will teach you the skills that you need to be competent during high-angle rock and ice rescues for parties of two.
Course Prerequisites
Successful completion of at least two intermediate or crag climbs. Successful completion of Intermediate Rescue Methods is not required, however highly recommended.
Dates
You must be able to attend the following field trips at the Seattle Program Center:
1st field trip - Monday, October 10, 2016 from 6-9pm
2nd field trip - Monday, October 17, 2016 from 6-9pm
3rd field trip - Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 8am-4pm
4th field trip - Monday, November 7, 2016 from 6-9pm
5th field trip - Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 8am-4pm
Note
Preferenece for enrollment is given to intermediate graduates, crag graduates, and climb leaders. The course fee may be waived for active climb leaders. Contact leader for code.
