  • Learn simple ways to assist a stuck rappeller
  • Learn to rig guided rappels to avoid a hazard or to move an injured teammate through a canyon
  • Learn emergency rope cutting technique to release a rappeller and safely lower them to the bottom of the pitch

Required Equipment

All personal canyoning gear (*no wetsuits required): harness/hardware, helmet, canyon shoes if needed for ascending.

Personal items: lunch/snacks, water, sunscreen, water bottle, and appropriate clothing for warm weather. We will be in the sun most of the day.
