Leader's notes A 2 1/2-hour clinic for current and prospective trip leaders to learn and practice the use of ropes to set anchors that are specific for alpine scrambling.

7:00 - 9:30 pm at the Seattle Program Center.

This clinic is for people wanting to learn and practice using ropes and setting up anchors for scrambling useful for leader and prospective trip leaders.

Priority will be given to prospective Seattle scramble leaders who need this course as part of their application process.

Leader kits to bring on scrambling trips
Descending kits for trip participants
Knots
Anchor materials
Anchor fundamentals
Handlines
Protected downclimbing
Other topics depending on time

If you're a current Scrambling Trip Leader then please bring your rope "kit" which you bring on all your trips (if you have one).

Leader permission only for first week, then course will be open for all.
