08:00 at Lake Erie Grocery.  Parking  entrance is just behind / north of  the grocery, off of Heart Lake Rd.

"Please consolidate parking of vehicles as much as possible making them two deep and close together in the far back NE corner along the base of the hill, leaving the Lakeside open. They want as many campsites open as possible."

Please bring $10 cash per vehicle for parking.

We will ascend Mt Erie on- and off-trail, looking for opportunities to practice basic 3rd class rock climbing skills. Near the top, we'll practice protected downclimb and arm wrap rappel.

It's not unusual to encounter a few ticks, so consider countermeasures, clothing or chemical. Fortunately you're unlikely to acquire any diseases from ticks in WA -- no Lyme disease has been identified from here -- especially  if you remove them within an hour or two.
