Camp Long officially opens at 9:00am, so be at the gate ready to go by 8:55. Note the West Seattle Bridge closure makes driving there more difficult, so plan ahead to get there on time.

This workshop combines an introduction to basic snow skills and an introduction to basic rock skills.

Bring the full alpine scrambling day trip gear list. This includes ice axe, helmet, and sufficient clothing to roll around on the wet ground as if it was snow. Definitely bring your mountaineering boots and crampons. We will distribute the downclimbing kit at the field trip.
