This is a conditioning hike for Seattle Alpine Scrambling Course (A) Group students. We will use this time to get to know fellow scramblers, test new gear, discuss the course, and get ready for a summer peakbagging!

On this hike we will be starting from the Cable Line trailhead,  following for 0.4 miles and the turn right on the Tiger Mountain Trail. Continue on the TMT for 1.1 miles and turn right on the K-3 trail. Follow this to the summit of TM-2, and take the short connector trail to TM-3 summit. We will then descend the Cable Line trail back to our cars.

Required Equipment

This is not a scramble, so helmets, ice axes and harnesses are not required however for conditioning you should carry all the gear you will be taking on a scramble trip. This includes helmet, ice axe and hasty harness.

Everything else you would bring on a regular scramble course is required including the 10 essentials, rain gear and extra clothes.

This is a great time to test out mountaineering boots you are planning to use during the scramble course for fit and comfort. If you do not have those boots yet sturdy hiking boots will suffice for now.
