More details will come in email prior to the field trip. We will meet in the Steven's Pass parking lot on the north side of the highway. Meet time is 8:00am. Please be geared up are ready to go by 8:00.
Meeting time: 8:00 am at Stevens Pass Ski Area.
This will be a full day of rolling around in the snow! We will cover snow travel on technical terrain, and what to do if you fall.
You will learn and practice these skills:
- Ascending and descending on steep snow
- Ice axe self-arrest
- Glissading
