This evening workshop is an introduction to the scramble course and an open house / expo style event to meet our instructors and leaders and get an up-close look at the gear needed for scrambling. The workshop has two parts.

First, we will explain what exactly scrambling is and cover some logistics for the course.  Next, we will break out for a hands-on exploration and discussion of the gear needed for scrambling. A lot of this gear is common to hiking and backpacking, but we also add-in more technical equipment such as helmets, boots and ice axes!

The instructors will bring their scramble packs for show-and-tell, and we welcome you to bring any gear you have questions about.

The workshop starts promptly at 6:30pm and runs until approximately 8:30pm.
