This all day field trip takes place in the Bean Creek Basin area of the Cascades north of the town of Cle Elum on I-90.

 Here you will demonstrate the skills you have learned in the course on a real  scramble trip up to the summit of one of the many peaks in the area. Although you will be acheiving the summit witha pair of instructors there will be little or no instruction as you are expected to demonstrate the skills needed to participate in Mountaineers scramble trips including snow, rock and navigation skills.
