Olympia Mountaineers Adventure Speaker Series

Heather Hanson- Cuba is a mystery to most Americans. When we do think about it, our thoughts are often limited to politics or old cars. Heather spent 10 days on a botanical tour of Cuba in November 2015. In addition to exotic flowers, they also saw a wide variety of birds and other fauna and got to know the Cuban people. Learn about the challenges of daily life in Cuba as well as the beauty of the island

The Olympia Branch of The Mountaineers invites members and nonmembers/visitors to join us at our eight evening social events. On these occasions we share potluck meals, re-connect with one another while perusing a sampling of our library materials, share organization information, and enjoy outstanding adventure presentations. These activities all occur on the first Wednesday of the month, from September through May, excluding November, at the Friends Meeting House at Priest Point, at 3201 Boston Harbor Rd. NE. 98506.

5:45 Potluck: Dinner begins promptly at 6:00.  Bring a dish to share, plate and flatware.
