The Annual Awards Banquet is open to Members, graduates and guests to recognize the achievements of our members and course graduates.

5:00 p.m. social hour, 6:00 p.m. dinner followed by member recognition, our key note speaker Vikram Sahney, Divisional Vice President of Sustainability with REI, and graduation announcements.  

Vik Sahney is an outdoor adventurer and the Head of Sustainability at REI Co-op, the nation's largest consumer cooperative with over 16M members and $2.5B in revenue. Previously, Vik led overall strategy for the Co-op.  Prior to REI, Vik was an Associate Principal in McKinsey & Company's Seattle Office, where he spent 8 years consulting for global industrial clients including in China, Australia, and the UK. He holds multiple degrees in engineering and business from the University of Michigan and MIT.

Vik's outdoor adventures include high altitude mountaineering, where in 2011 he became one of ~350 people and the first Indian-American to complete the 7 Summits, summiting the tallest peak on each continent. Vik serves in leadership roles at the Mountaineers, and on the Board of Director's for the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust and the American Alpine Club.  He lives in Seattle with his wife and two daughters.

This will be followed by course graduation and award ceremony.

This year's menu is being determined and will be announced upon completion.
