Olympia Explorers Hike - Lake Sylvia State Park/Montesano City Forest

Cross-Country ski with Explorers---changed to a hike due to rain! This is a beautiful 2.4 mile hike around the river at Lake Sylvia State Park. More fun to hike than to ski in the rain!

The details to this trip will be discussed at our meeting on January 14th, followed by an email that will be sent to all families prior to the trip.

 

9:00 am at Olympic National Forest HQ parking lot or 10am at Lake Sylvia State Park.  Look for Green Nisson

Return no later than 3:00pm back in Olympia.

We will be hiking at Lake Sylvia State Park in a lovely forest beside Sylvia Creek with interesting old logging paraphenalia and nature kiosks marking the trail.
