Essentials of Backpacking Lecture - Burfoot Park

If enough students are enrolled, we plan to have a morning and an afternoon session.   Date and location is tentative, depending on COVID-19 situation. Leader will email specific meeting place and time at a later date.

This activity is open to students in the 2021 Olympia Essentials Of Backpacking Course.  Instructors will bring their own backpacking gear and setup gear stations.  The students will  rotate between stations to get hands on learning about types of gear and the advantages and disadvantages of each.  If enough students are enrolled, we plan to have a morning and an afternoon session.  More information about this as we get closer to the date.
