Essentials of Backpacking Field Trip - Lake Sylvia State Park/Montesano City Forest

This is a field trip for the Olympia Essentials of Backpacking Course.    Students will participate in an overnight campout with instructors, and will demonstrate the skills learned in the class.  Students will bring their own backpacking gear. 

The location and date for the event is tentative.  At this time we are under COVID-19 restrictions and large group campouts are forbidden.  We will wait to see if this restriction is lifted.  If not, the students can fulfill this requirement by going on a backpack with one of the instructors.
