  • Avalanche Beacon
  • Avalanche Probe (minimum 240 cm)
  • Snow Shovel
  • Snow Flotation (Snowshoes or Skis) Please do not wear skis if you are not proficient with ski travel up and down hill with a heavy pack
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Sleeping Pad
  • Snow saw (Optional, but could be required depending on snow conditions)
  • Avalanche Blue Book (Optional)
  • Bivy Sack  (Optional)
  • Tarp Materials (Optional)

THIS IS NOT AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST. PLAN ACCORDINGLY TO SPEND A NIGHT OUTSIDE IN THE SNOW IN POSSIBLY ADVERSE CONDITIONS.

PARTICIPANTS ARE EXPECTED TO PLAN THEIR OWN GROUP GEAR. IE. STOVE, FUEL, FOOD, ECT.
