Our primary goal is the east facing slopes above Cement Basin.

Efficiently ascending a verity of snow conditions that may require ski crampons.  Continued to practice efficient transition from uphill travel to skiing.

Required Equipment

Backcountry skis and bindings or split snowboard. The binding system must allow the heel to be unlocked and the toe to pivot for uphill climbing with skins. No cross-country skis.

Ski Crampons

Avalanche transceiver that displays distance and direction, shovel and probe.
