Our primary goal is Kendall Ridge above middle Kendall Peak Lakes. We will make ski runs down south facing slopes toward the lakes. We will finish the day by skiing slopes north and west to Commonwealth Creek. This trip will require the ability to avoid trees.
Practice efficient transition from uphill travel to skiing down.

Required Equipment
Backcountry skis and bindings or split snowboard. The binding system must allow the heel to be unlocked and the toe to pivot for uphill climbing with skins. No cross-country skis.
Avalanche transceiver that displays distance and direction, shovel and probe.
