We will answer questions on equipment use.  Practice efficient transition from uphill travel to skiing down.  Practice with our avalanche transceivers.

Required Equipment

Required Equipment

Backcountry skis and bindings or split snowboard. The binding system must allow the heel to be unlocked and the toe to pivot for uphill climbing with skins. No cross-country skis.

Avalanche transceiver that displays distance and direction, shovel and probe.
