Likely jobs include chipping fallen branches from around the campus to reduce fire hazard, splitting wood, snow cat maintenance, construction work, rope tow maintenance.

The plan:

  • We'll start at the Lodge at 9 am on Saturday and run through 1 pm on Sunday.  Some folks will arrive Friday night after dinner.  You can leave early if you like.
  • Hot meals and food will be provided by Meany Lodge.

Families are welcome.  We just ask that one adult in the family participates in the work party.  The other adult can tend to the children.  We often have fun jobs that 6 year-olds and up can do.

Please bring work gloves and eye protection (we have some available at the lodge, but the ones you bring may fit you better).

Meany Lodge will be practicing COVID-19 safety precautions:  see the notes field for more information.

Notes

  • We will be taking our meals outside or in the zoo.
