Kitsap Forest Adventure Camp

Kitsap Forest Adventure Camp Week 1 - 2021

Week 1 - Nature Detectives (July 12-16)

Unplug your K-4 grade child this summer and let them experience summer the way it used to be – with a great adventure at the Kitsap Forest Theater near Bremerton*. The Mountaineers Players have two exciting weeks of activities planned for your camper – choose either Nature Detectives or Wildlife Adventure or both, and let them play, explore and create in the forest and creeks at the Kitsap Forest Theater. Activities include art, music, drama, play, hiking and exploring the forest, wildlife and creeks of this unique area.

*SEATTLE TRANSPORTATION NOT OFFERED AT THIS TIME because of current restrictions. We will add back the option for riding the ferry and bus to camp if restrictions lift.  We are hoping parents will consider alternative ways of getting their campers to camp to experience the out-of-doors in a fun and safe manner: carpools, camping, VRBO, Airbnb, working remotely in the area, etc.

An optional family Friday night dinner, campfire and overnight (TBD if allowed) adds to the adventure. Families can join their camper for dinner or dinner/overnight and explore this beautiful area. It is very special for campers to share their experience with their families and was a highlight for participants of last years’ camps.

Scholarships are available. Please apply here. Important: when you apply for a scholarship, please notify us by email.

This registration is for Week 1 - Nature Detectives (July 12-16)

Join us as we explore the natural world through hands on experimentation, animal visitors, plant life, creek walks and games. Bring your curiosity and sense of adventure for a week of scientific discovery in our amazing forest “laboratory”.

Current prices reflect discount price for registrations received before April 1, 2021.
