Ian will give a slideshow presentation from his new book "Glacier Climbing & Crevasse Rescue: Essential Skills for Snow Travel," followed by an optional hands-on demonstration, book signing, and Q&A.

- 6:30pm arrive, set-up a/v and demo area, Ian to set-up at book table for signing and sales and station himself there as attendees start to arrive
- 7:00-7:05 welcome remarks, introduce Ian
- 7:05-7:30 slideshow presentation (Ian) – will need a/v set-up
- 7:30-7:40 brief audience Q&A (moderated by Ed or other volunteer, will need a strict timekeeper to end questions and keep us on schedule, remind attendees where they can get a copy of the book if they haven’t already)
- 7:40-7:45 transition to demo area
- 7:45-8:15 optional hands-on demo (Ian, aided by volunteer assistants)
- 8:15-8:30+ time for additional book signing, mingling, one-on-one questions with Ian
