Depart the new North Kitsap Transit Center ACROSS THE STREET FROM the Poulsbo Church of the Nazarene. Google Map it and we meet across the street to try to depart at 7:30 a.m.


This is backcountry snow camping.

There are no facilities.

It is 3.5 miles and 2500 feet of ascent to get there.

Expect snow and ice on the way.

Snow melt equipment to provide water.

Food for at least 3 squares.

Equipment and clothing to support a night outdoors with temperatures dropping down to 15 Degrees.

Cannister Stoves can be shared, but not canister gas. Tents sharing is recommended.
