Meet 8:45AM, at the Eglon boat launch. Unload kayaks and gear, then transport at least one vehicle, with a spare change of clothing and foot wear, to our destination, Port Gamble.

Wind may dictate kayaking this route in reverse order (deasil) launching at Port Gamble.

Required Equipment

The kayaking essentials (see below) plus the Ten Essentials. Additional equipment may be required by the leader - please check the Leader's notes for additional information!

  1. Flotation in both ends of the kayak
  2. U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
  3. Paddle
  4. Spray skirt
  5. Bilge pump with flotation
  6. Self-rescue paddle float
  7. Waterproof whistle
  8. Appropriate clothing and immersion wear for the conditions
