Info
COVID-19: Learn about our most up-to-date guidance for participants and leaders on our COVID-19 Response page. All participants and leaders must agree to the COVID-19 Code of Conduct before participating in this Mountaineers course.

Want a stick?  Carve your own Greenland paddle under the tutelage of Don Beale.  Don will provide all necessary tools and western red cedar paddle blanks as well as instruction.

Course will be in Kitsap County near Port Orchard.  We will work in a pole building; we will be under cover but it may be chilly.  Bring appropriate insulation.  You will have opportunity to finish your new stick with tung oil; if you choose to do so, bring 2 large trash bags to put your new paddle in for it's ride home.  (If you prefer, you can put a finish on your paddle later -- either tung oil or, my preference, linseed oil.)  Bring lunch and a snack and a water bottle and a coffee cup.  The club will provide coffee.

Course fee is non-refundable.
