A moderate hike that follows South Fork Tunnel Creek on the Olympic Peninsula through old growth forest to a shelter at approximately 2.7 miles.

Meet at 9:00am at the Kitsap Transit Center at 21992 Viking Ave NW, Poulsbo. If you would like to walk on the Edmonds-Kingston ferry I can pick you up in Kingston as you get off. Please let me know in advance.
New to hiking or just want getting back into it? This moderate hike is a great way to start. We'll hike out approximately 2.7 miles to a shelter and return (5.4 mi. round trip).

Required Equipment
Be sure to bring along these things: Sturdy shoes or boots with good traction and support (and good seal); Trekking poles or walking stick for support (trail can get muddy); Clothing: dress in layers (no cotton): base, insulating (warm), water/wind proof; hat and gloves; backpack; water and food.
