Meet at Vantage-Feathers Parking Lot at 8 am.  

Field trip to teach and practice climbing skills to prepare students to confidently lead single and multi-pitch trad climbs. We will work thru leading on bolts, belaying from above, leading rappel, climb technique, and other skills.

Daily ten essentials especially for often windy conditions with temperatures varying quickly between very chilled (snow flurries) to hot exposed sun.  

Helmet, harness and climbing shoes.

Sufficient alpine draws and quick draws for the routes we will climb (if you have them - otherwise gear will be provided). 

Bring any protection you have. You will have the opportunity to use available equipment to determine which types you want to purchase for yourself.
