0730 at the parking lot across the road from the climbing area or as set by Mike.
Field trip to teach and practice climbing skills to prepare students to confidently lead single and multi-pitch trad climbs. We will work thru leading on bolts, single pitch trad and multi-pitch climbing including block leads and swinging leads.
We will focus on mock leading to allow participants to place and clip trad gear in controlled conditions.

Required Equipment
Harness, helmet and climbing shoes.
Quick draws and/or alpine draws as appropriate for the location and route.
Participants will be able to try a variety of protection types to determine which to purchase for their climbing rack.
