Learn more skills to travel over steep snow and glaciers efficiently and with confidence.
**Will add an additional lecture and field trip to stay within limits.**
Prerequisites: Intermediate Alpine Mountaineering I/Self-Rescue I course or equivalent, and AIARE Level I course.
Applicable Standards:

10 Essentials for the field trip.
Winter-rated climbing and camping gear - sleeping bag, multiple pairs of gloves.
Beacon, probe, shovel.
Crampons. Flotation - snowshoes.
2 pickets with lanyard/draw in addition to glacier climbing gear appropriate to the field trip location. We will review this in the classroom.
