The Foothills Branch Council is the core group of leaders that gives the branch a cohesive voice and direction and facilitates that actions of all of its committees.   Focus of council meetings is to discuss and make decisions on needs and opportunities brought forward by committees and other members.

Branch members are welcome to attend to hear about what's going on in the branch! Members can often vote on an advisory basis to lend their opinions to council decisions. Ideas and opportunities that members would like to bring forward for discussion in a council meeting should be sent in advance either to the Foothills committee chair at cascadehiker@earthlink.net at least  two weeks and preferably a month before the next meeting.
