Doors open at 6:00PM for socializing and a chance to check out information tables to learn more about some of our Foothills branch programs and find out how to volunteer. 

At 6:30PM  we'll open the buffet table for everyone to partake in Italian specialties from Maggiano's Little Italy, and settle in for a 45 minute program where Foothills activity chairs will share some of the latest happenings in their courses and activities and recognize their most active volunteers. 

At around 7:30PM we'll have an extra-special treat, an exclusive presentation by Dan Weld, a photographer and adventurer who has spent decades backpacking and exploring the slickrock backcountry of the southwestern US.  See Dan's stunning photos and get some tips about where to go, how to get around 'off the beaten track', and how to plan a safe and successful trip in this increasingly popular part of the world! 

The event will conclude at 9PM.   (Anyone who can stay for a few minutes to help clean up will be very welcome!)
