Back by popular demand:  the fourth photo journey in our 2021 series of virtual online pajama parties for Mountaineers backpackers and anyone else who loves to learn about or drool over pictures from the best backpacking routes in our fine state (and nearby)!   Put on your comfy jammies, grab a beverage and snack, and join us from 7 to 8:30 for slides, route info and details on how to plan your own trip!  These events are open to the public!

Quests are made of heroes, villains, and adventures and in the summer of 2020, Heidi Walker, her sister Kristi, and their friend Jeannie set out on a 62 mile, 9-day quest to visit the Happy Hollow shelter deep in the heart of the Olympic Wilderness. However, lurking in the shadows of their plans was a pandemic that would force them to alter their plans and learn the value of being flexible on the trail and off. Ultimately, the gift that was given to them was 9 days of hiking through some of the most beautiful forest and stunning views offered in the Pacific Northwest.   Come and share their story!

Beginning two days before the event we will email the instructions and link to join via zoom.  You must get a ticket on eventbrite at the link below to receive the zoom details to log in.

You can get a ticket for free, but if you have appreciated all of our efforts to keep your outdoor dreams alive during the Covid-19 pandemic and on into the future, we'd love it if you'd offer even a small gift toward our hiking and backpacking programs during this time of extreme financial difficulty!    Get your ticket at the link below, and if you're willing to contribute you can purchase a $10 or $20 ticket or choose the free option. We look forward to seeing you there!
