This on-demand offering is an introduction to recognizing avalanche terrain, knowing the primary factors that cause avalanches, and ways to avoid avalanche danger, including pre-trip planning and using local online avalanche bulletins and mountain weather forecasts.

This offering is run entirely through Google Classrooms. If you cannot access Google Classrooms, this is not a viable option for you!

Generally, you can sign up for this course with nearly any email address, but you cannot use GSuite email addresses such as those you might have through work or a private email. Plain old Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc work fine.
