SNOWSHOE-SPECIFIC FIELD TRIP. Practice winter camping skills, try out gear, learn hands-on about how to be safe and comfortable camping in the backcountry in winter conditions.

  • how to set up a winter camp
  • cooking food
  • gathering water
  • building an emergency snow shelter

     

    In addition to our hands-on learning activities, we will engage in a group activity:  snowshoeing to Kendall Peak Lakes.
